New pictures!
It's been a while...
Update:
Graham is in BLET.
I am in my senior year of college. I quit Mathnasium and now work as a pet caretaker for Wilkinson Animal Hospital.
We moved into our new apartment about 3 weeks ago. We have a new cat named Karate. He enjoys eating Radar's food and hiding in my closet.
I want to live on a mountain!

Hello folks,
Things have been, well, crazy lately (at least for me...Graham). I no longer work at my old job but have been working part time as a Security Officer for US Security Associates. It's a very easy job....very very easy, but it gives me time to do my homework. I've applied at local police departments so I'm hoping I hear back from them soon. Melissa and I are going on a wonderful vacation next week and we're both excited. Sunday, we're leaving for Miami to visit Melissa's grandma. We're staying the night there then going to to catch our ship! We're going to Key West, Cozumel and Belize! I'm ready for some sunshine, all you can eat food (that's the best part) and foreign countries. My passport is anxiously waiting to get some stamps in it, so the trip can't come fast enough. We'll be sure to put up pictures when we get back!
Cheers,
Graham
Hello,
Things have been going fairly well down here in Charlotte, aside from the normal urges to leave everything to work on a vineyard in Italy.
We had some couch surfers from Germany stay with us Sunday night. They were pretty fluent in English and enjoyed eating at Ishi. A friend of Ishi is a friend of Graham and me. Especially Graham. We played Super Mario Kart, Apples to Apples, and some guitar as well. I always think I'm good at guitar until some other guitar player comes along...
Anyway,
We hope to go hiking this weekend. And I plan on forcing Graham to have a picnic with me! He's bound to give in one of these days.
Radar is sitll growing. She's been a little sad lately, missing Raja, since he's been couped up in Kimberly's room. Poor boy.
Ok, have a great day!
-Melissa
Hello all,
So Mel, Radar and I decided to go camping once again this weekend. We took out the new North Face tent, and surprise, glow in the dark zippers! How cool is that? We had to buy her a sweater because she was a tad cold, but otherwise she was a champ. Things are looking well this year so far. I just got a new part time job which should be very fun and start grad school this week. Mel goes back to school on Monday and Radar goes....well....she's still peeing inside.
Hope all is well and stay safe! It's a crazy world out there.
Cheers,
Graham
Hello, it's Melissa this time.....
I just have to say that Radar is not growing like a plant. Plants develop rather slowly. More accurately she is growing like a puppy.
Ok bye
Hello all!
It's been awhile since we've posted, so we'd like to update you on our current adventures! Today we ventured to the U.S. National Whitewater center...home of the U.S. Olympic Whitewater team! Wow! They have some pretty cool stuff there and now Melissa and I both want kayaks more than ever. They also have a ton of climbing walls. Time to get certified! (Maybe this week?!). Instead of drowning, we decided to use one of their hiking trails. We walked a mile or so, got lost, took a shortcut and ended up back in the parking lot; a mere 7.5 miles short of our intended hike. Oops!
Our puppy Radar is growing like a plant! She's now about 7.5lbs. About 2lbs heavier than when we got her. She's chewing and biting up a storm. Her favorite bad items to chew are my Vans and Melissa's socks. I guess they were right when they said Black Labs like stuff that smells bad! She goes back to the Vet (who is awesome) on Dec. 19th for her second set of shots.
Happy Holidays, happy things.
Graham
Hello!
So it's almost Thanksgiving and......we got a puppy. She is extremely adorable and of course.. a puppy.. which means she needs a lot of attention. But of course we don't mind playing with her nonstop since she is so cute. Her name is Radar, though I like calling her "Radie" instead. Or maybe it should be spelled Radey? I don't know.
Anyway, We're going to Hendersonville for the Turkey celebration. Should we eat turkey or should we be good vegetarians and eat tofurkey? I'll probably give in and eat the meat.
Well, it's late and we need rest. We posted some pictures of the new member of the family.
Hope everyone is well!
Hello all,
I'm sorry for not putting pictures up yet. It's due to nothing but laziness on our part! This weekend I (Graham) am going to Wilmington with my buddy Josh to help with a Greenpeace event on the coast. It's part of Project Hot Seat which is the campaign I worked on in Florida and DC to stop global warming. There is a student organizer at UNCW who's holding a Save Our Seas event so Josh and I are going to take a trip to the coast to help out. My buddy Sam Raskin from Greenpeace is also flying down from DC so it should be a good time.
When we get back Saturday night, Melissa, Kimbo and I are going to our friend Tony's halloween party. Because we're uncreative and cheap, we're going to dress up as hippies (Melissa bought a tie-dye kit!). If we take pictures, we'll post them up...I promise!
Cheers,
Graham
PS: Red Sox are leading 2-0 in the world series!
We sure do get around! This weekends adventure is to Melissa's home town of Hendersonville. It's her mom's birthday so we're going to spread some birthday cheer and visit her and the family...and RAMEY! We plan on doing some hiking, maybe at Dupont, while we're there and burn some calories (I'll need it after Black Rose nachos!). It's only about an hour and a half drive, so I'm hoping Melissa's 1987 Toyota Camry will make it. I should be nice though, the car does have over 200,000 miles on it and breaks down half as much as mine.
Speaking of cars that break down, I'm getting my mom's Subaru Outback next weekend and she's trading in the Jetta for a truck to pull the horses with. It will be nice having reliable transportation and an automatic so Charlotte rush hour traffic won't kill my clutch leg. We'll also be able to go on trips to the mountains because it's all wheel drive! Yippy!
I've been lazy and haven't posted any new pictures, but I'll try to do that tonight. Don't forget to leave us comments!
Cheers,
Graham
